SUSAN SAYERS is a theatrically trained seamstress with 40 yrs experience customizing costumes. While retired from the theater I still love alterations and customizing clothing for Brides and the complete Bridal party. I can also offer dry cleaning and preservation service With WEDDING GOWN PRESERVATION CO. A one hundred yr old company that only works with bridal.

Wedding dress appointments must be made at least 10 weeks before the big day. This allows me to get the gown back to the bride at least two weeks before the big day. Mothers of/Bridesmaids require one months notice. Pricing can not be done through e mail or phone call. With picture I could give a estimation but until gown is in front of me I can not quote a price. Thank You for understanding. Appointment Set

We ask that you reach out at least 10 weeks before your big day. For mothers of and bridesmaids, we ask that you make an appointment at least one month ahead of the big day. Grooms and fathers of, minimum 3 weeks notice.

Rush appointments subject to scheduling and additional fees

First Fitting

First, we will take all required measurements and go over the basic idea for your vision of your attire. Please note, any planned body modifications such as diets and/or surgery need to be disclosed, and may require additional fittings and fees. This is when we work on the foundations of your attire. This is where available options can be discussed for items like the bussell and hem. Itemized invoice of design will also be gone over at this time.

Half of the balance will be required at this time.

Second Fitting

Double check the fitting of design. Any additions or alterations can be discussed which may result in additional fees. Decisions on bussell and hem length are solidified at this time. No payment on remaining balance is needed at this appointment.

Shoes Required at this fitting.

Pick-Up

Final test fit to ensure your satisfaction. Bussell instruction will also be gone over if required. A bussell diagram can also be provided. We encourage that you take a video of bussell instruction for later reference. We ask that whomever may be doing the busselling attend this appointment.
